The Siger Studio’s XSMP for 3ds Max is a continuation of well-known plugins family: V-Ray Material Presets Pro (VMPP), Corona Material Presets Pro (CMPP) and Material Repository Pro (MRP). But at the same time it’s a completely new software created from scratch. Therefore versions of the program are started over again from 1.0.0.
THE NEW LICENSING SYSTEM
Our previous licensing system has its advantages and disadvantages.
License key files were used to activate software, which we consider to be outdated for modern software.
We want to get rid of license key files entirely, so we developed new proprietary system for easier activation and management of software licenses.
Of course, early versions of the software will continue to support the license keys, but for new applications and new releases will be used new license management.
All new license keys will now be handled from within one License Server and database.
